GeekVape Aegis Mini Kit – mini version to Aegis Legend Kit
Hello, friend. In this review I will make a comparison with the Aegis Mini 80W TC Kit and Aegis Legend Kit from Geekvape. Let’s talk about more details.
Abstract:
Comparison between the Aegis Family, the Aegis Mini 80w device with a 2200mAh internal battery and is almost identical in looks to the original Aegis just shrunk down. Just as tough and durable as it’s bigger brothers, we find it in this kit paired up with the Cerberus tank with 0.3ohm mesh coils and 5.5ml capacity (2ml EU version). So let’s give the Aegis Mini Kit a good look!
Contents:

User Manual*1
It’s a great durable mod and although no one including Geekvape will suggest going diving or throwing the device from a 9th-floor window you would have to go some to break the device by accident. Made from many different durable materials including army grade silicone it will take some knocks. The device is IP67 waterproof and there are some clever ways the Legend is a fully operating device yet waterproof. The most obvious one is the USB port which is kept sealed with a silicone bung.
Compare to Geekvape Aegis Legend Kit
When the original Aegis was released there was a bit of a buzz about it, almost indestructible, firing time to rival the Drag and battery options that included a 26650. So this Legend’s duel battery version was obvious worked great and all the various wattage’s I vaped at certainly seemed accurate.
The battery life was not that great at 40w but fine for out and about(it doesn’t seem the claimed 2200mAh to be honest). I did also use the Mini with the Geekvape Ammit MTL RTA at 15w. Then it gave me a very decent battery life, but still not convinced its 2200mAh.
And we back to the brother product Geekvape Aegis Legend. It lists the specs at 200 watts, 9 volts, and during my testing, the max wattage achieved was 209 watts. So it is accurately rated and capable of doing a little more than the 200 listed.
If you aren’t a temp control vaper and want a powerful mod that can take a serious beating, it doesn’t get much better than the Geekvape Aegis Legend. And if you are, the Aegis Mini Kit will give you great personal experience in temp control.
