Vaporesso Polar Kit Review – Designed for Advanced Vapors
In a large environment filled with various pod system kits, smoke-type TC box mods still occupy an absolute king status, the reason is that the former is pure portable and just replace cigarette, while the latter has a clear advantage in free collocation, endurance, and playability. Today we will share the Vaporesso Polar Kit with you.
The Vaporesso Polar is a 220W vape mod that is designed with western aesthetics of sleek sophistication and precise engineering. The Polar Starter Kit consists of this marvelous mod and the upgraded Omni Board 4.0 chipset. The Cascade Baby SE Sub-Ohm offers up the same performance of the Cascade Baby on the Armour Pro but has been given an ultra-modern design that together with the Polar Mod, there is nothing on the market right now that can equal the Polar Starter Kit in pure aesthetics. Measuring in at 144mm tall, which includes the tank, 45mm wide and 28mm depth it’s pretty average size. It does have a nice big 2″ TFT color screen displaying all the important information that we’ll look at later.
Inside the Vaporesso Polar Mod is the OMNI 4 Board. I dare say I would stack the new OMNI 4 up against any current board, including the DNA250C. It claims to be one of the fastest responsive mods on the market yet providing the user with a whole host of features.
The OMNI 4 provides a wattage range of 5W-220W, a resistance range of 0.03-ohm to 5.0-ohms, and includes several “modes”; Smart VW(H/N/S) / VT(SS, NI, TI) / CCT / CCW / VV / CCV, BYPASS, and a 2-memory TCR Adjustment. There is even a feature Super Player Mode, a broad resistance range that is meant to provide an optimal vape for most of the modern tanks available now and in the future. You also have the option to adjust the time, brightness, puff counter and display colors, automatic off timers, screen timers etc. All these are found in the settings option in the menu.
The Cascade Baby SE Vape Tank holds a 6.5mL capacity for e-juice, high quality colored glass tank, triple airflow slots, and the superior Isolation Structure Design that separates the e-juice and coil chamber, and finally a wider wide-bore Delrin drip tip, and a lift and slide top fill system. They do include a mesh coil in the kit, which is nice to see. In our opinion mesh coils produce the best flavor and great vapor, perfect for performing some great vape tricks! Along with the 0.18-ohm mesh coil, they also include the GT 8 0.15-ohm coil that’s pre-installed in the tank.
About the Vaporesso Polar Kit’s performance. We directly replaced the pre-installed coil with the mesh coil. Setting the mod to 50W which is on the low side of the recommended wattage (50-80W). The flavor is actually really good, instant and fulfilling bringing the best out of your juice. The response mode is so much better in hard vaping mode, they claim it’s the quickest, but it’s in the same ballpark as some other mods.
In my opinion, the Polar Vape Kit is not the best choice for a primary device because of the Omni 4. And it is better for the advanced vapors.
